Casa Belvedere: Located in Civita di Bagnoregio, close to
Umbria and Tuscany, this wonderful house dates back to Etruscan period. It has been
remodeled over the last 37 years by the architect owners, to provide
modern conveniences while keeping the medieval character. Upstairs are two bedrooms (one large enough to serve as a sitting room
as well), a bathroom with tub/shower, and large eat-in kitchen that is
the center of the house. A few steps higher is a small roof terrace
with room for eating and spectacular views.
The private walled gardens are across the small central street and
offer panoramic views of the surrounding valley and distant mountains.
The garden
is the real living room of the house, with a variety of spaces suitable
for
different seasons, times of day and guests. The space also contains a
