However, it's one thing to rent a car and drive out into the country, hoping to find the vintner at home. It's quite another to arrive expected, explore the winery with the vintner and a guide who know wines, enjoy a wine tasting and a delicious lunch, and visit other local points of interest. 

A Grape Adventures guide will escort you to a premier wine estate in the different regions. En route, the guide will provide background information about the history of the area, its wines, and point out noteworthy sights. At the winery, tour members will enjoy a tour followed by a wine-tasting and have the opportunity to purchase wines, olive oils, honey, and other local products.
